Family opticians business started in 1984. We have undergone many changes over the years but continue to adapt to the changing retail environment.
For many years we have been a solely high street based opticians, performing eye tests, dispensing spectacles and selling sunglasses and a variety of other optical products.
With increasing pressure on the Family run business from the multiple opticians and Supermarkets it becomes harder than ever to compete on price.
With internet sales we have cut most of our overheads and are now able to undercut the major players in the optical world while still offering the customer service only available through an independent Family run business.
We have many regular customers especially from the USA who have become friends, we find this way of business a pleasure and look forward to each working day.
We are specialising in the supply of designer sunglasses and designer spectacle frames. We buy directly from the Manufacturer hence all products are Genuine. We do have accounts with over 100 suppliers and designers and are able to supply almost anything any other independent opticians can.
Prescription lenses can be supplied however we will not accept all orders as some are not advisable to be made up without the measurements and fittings to be done personally. We want all of our customers to be 100% happy with their purchase and to ensure this we will offer our advice first and sometimes this advice is to buy from an optician local to you.
